Ultra-rare collector begleri beads. Heavily played.
Begleri is an ancient dexterity toy from Greece, evolved from Komboloi or worry beads still widely
used in the region, they are also a mutation from more ancient and sacred traditional Komboskini or
prayer rope.
Made from solid brass rods and paracord.
Each bead is unique and imperfect. They are machined by hand.
The two beads weigh the same but their shape and size may differ.
The beads are rough from heavy use, they have been slinged a lot since the pictures. They are damaged, which adds to their raw, gritty charm. For the same reason, they also hold significant sentimental value, which almost single-handedly drives the price of this series.
The beads will be mirror-polished back right before packaging, but expect some oxidation with time. Hours of craft and play already give them an authentic aura, almost as if from a distant, mysterious past.
